Animated Materials

Supported Formats: Lottie, GIF, MP4

Vectary allows for the use of 2D animations and videos as textures on objects or as standalone animated objects.

To apply a Lottie, GIF, or MP4 file, select Animation in any material property and upload the file or provide a link.

Switch to Preview mode to see how the animation or video functions

Animations or videos can simply be dragged onto the canvas, and they will be imported as a plane. This plane can then be attached to an object as a decal, which is often more convenient than using the file as a texture in the material properties. For more detailed information on this method, refer to the following link: Decals

Texture animations can be enhanced by adjusting additional material properties and settings. For instance, by applying the same texture to the Emission property, the texture can become brighter or lighter, according to the defined intensity levels.
