Transparent — transparent background for the project
Environment — displays the HDRI map
Ground projection
- by default, HDRI is projected spherically around the scene, creating a sense of object levitation. With Ground Projection mode enabled, the HDRi map is projected in such a way that allows objects to appear as if they are on the ground of the environment.
Size
- adjust the projection size (to adjust the projection size to the size of your scene)
Blur
- turn off this option to see the HDRi map. It can be made partially blurred in the Environment settings
Environment settings
- environment can be further adjusted with a variety of environment settings. You can also import your own HDRi.
Solid — solid color
Linear — linear gradient. Adjust the direction and incorporate additional colors by clicking on the gradient line. To remove a color, connect one point to another directly.
Radial — radial gradient. Similar to a linear gradient, but positioned in a circular fashion.
Texture — upload a custom image to use as a background. Images can be uploaded directly from a local drive or a URL provided. In the Transform tab, adjustment of the Fit setting along with image resolution is possible.

Certain background options feature additional Adjust and Transform tabs. Within the Adjust tab, color properties can be modified, while the Transform tab provides options to alter position, resolution, and other settings.
